The Small Print & FAQ... Project Baby Sparrow
Project Baby Sparrow is a small operation with such a big purpose. There are many hands working behind the scenes, but please be gracious and patient with us as we are all also still holding down full time careers.
Our Traveler's Notebooks are handmade; as well, the inserts are printed and assembled in our home. With these things in mind, please expect small human errors in your product.

Large errors, misprints, or faulty products will result in replacements - please reach out to us and include any pictures of any faulty product.
1:TRAVELER'S
NOTEBOOK
Originally created by the company Midori, and now made just north of Thailand by the Traveler's Company, Traveler's Notebooks are definitely not our own unique idea. A quick peruse over YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest and you will see a whole other world and community surrounding Traveler's Notebooks, all over the world! It is a book that I (Tiz) as a stationary nerd, fell completely in love with.

Traveler's Notebooks are covers with an elastic band down the inside spine, as well as one that loops around the cover to keep it closed. Through the inside elastic band, the owner is able to insert "Inserts" - which range from Notebook Inserts (both templated and non-templated), wallet Plastic Inserts, Kraft Folder Inserts - the ideas and possibilities could go on. In most Traveler's Notebooks there will only be one spine elastic band - this is where the elastic Jump Bands come in handy - to help with adding additional inserts. To finish it off, the owner can customize their notebook however they would like with other accessories.

PBS Traveler's Notebooks are made from Vinyl & Leatherette. Two pieces of the material are cut to approximate size, glued together, pressed, cut to size, stitched, hand hole-punched and fitted with eyelets, and finished with the binding of elastic. All of our PBS Traveler's Notebook, Notebook Inserts are printed, cut, folded, assembled, stapled and trimmed in house. All accessories are sourced in, many of which have been generously donated.

2:SHIPPING
Shipping* is set up as flat rates on our Project Baby Sparrow website. With that said - if your shipping is dramatically less than the flat rate, or dramatically more than the flat rate - we will reach out to you for either a shipping reimbursement or additional funds. Feel free to also reach out to us prior to your order for confirmation of this! We are sorry to not be able to provide free shipping at this time, as all of our funds are going into our adoption.

Currently our flat rates are as follows:
Saskatchewan - $13
Alberta & Manitoba - $15
Rest of Canada - $20 (Flat Rate Canada Post Box**, max weight of 5kg) / $25 (Xpresspost)

** You may also receive your package in a bubble mailer if it is the same cost to ship, and will help me to skip a step in purchasing the box for you!
3:RETURNS
With the above small print in mind - we will be happy to process any returns initiated within 7 days of confirmed mail delivery, with returned product being received by us within 30 days of initiated return. Funds (product total and initial shipping fee) will be reimbursed within 5 business days of the unused product being returned to us. Return shipping is at customer's expense.

No funds will be reimbursed for a return if any of the following are found true:
1. Return is initiated after 7 days
2. Product is received by us beyond the adequate 30 day window from return initiation
3. Upon receiving the product, it is determined that the product has been used.
4:GIFT CARDS
Gift Cards are available - but are currently not set up for the website. Please reach out to us directly to purchase or to redeem gift cards.
